Lovely meal! Sue our server provided excellent service during our visit. She was attentive, friendly, and ensured our dining experience was enjoyable. She made sure everything was perfect. Highly recommend the hungry horse! Nice easy food, good price and great attitude!

Sue and her staff were nothing short of amazing. They are so attentive it really made our visit worth the travel.
Originally we had a bad experience with on of our meals but Sue was very quick to invite us back as she was sure this wasn't a common occurrence.
Well, she was right.
Our visit today was great. Sue and her staff couldn't have done enough for me and my husband.
Don't debate it, just go! You will be very impressed!
Thank you for everything xxx

We've just had a late lunch at the Copper Pot, two Sunday lunches and a mixed grill. All the food was lovely, it was quite quiet and we had a lovely waitress called Caroline. The outside seating was lovely in the sun for a drink after lunch before returning home. Thoroughly recommend as a Sunday treat if you don't want to cook 😊
Parking: Lots of parking available in a good sized carpark attached to the pub.

Caroline was amazing. Nothing was too much hassle for her. Made a great night being fussed over. A credit to your business.
Jordan who served us at the bar and took our order was amazing too. Very much a people person and a great host welcoming people in.
Johnpaul the chef that cooked our food deserves to be in management. Thanks again.

The food was okay other than my chips were cold, and my partners were steaming hot.
The fact there were plenty of sauces you could pick and take to your table was a bonus, though.

First off I'll say the staff are great, but the chef needs the sack, I ordered a steak medium rare, with peppercorn sauce, the steak came out like leather and was well done and the peppercorn sauce tasted really bad, my plate was swimming in liquid as the steak had not been left to rest, so the chips were soaking wet and soggy so didn't eat them, the best part was the side salad that didn't even have a dressing that tasted better than the steak, won't be eating here again.

By far an excellent place to go for food, built on the grounds of an old pub called the travellers well and I believe the original beams have been used in the restaurant, very cosy, staff are always friendly, food is outstanding always cooked the way we order it, hot, fresh, ohh and the bourbon sponge with custard omg!! Is a must for dessert. You won’t be disappointed

We called here a couple of years ago and found it poor, and a left a poor review( I just deleted that), decided to try it today 01/03/24, and are glad we did. The food was excellent, with fast service, plenty of clean cutlery, sauces, etc. The lady that came from behind the bar to ask if we had booked was very nice and friendly. The Friday BOGOF Burger deal is of great value. We had the quadzilla and the home run, with salt and pepper fries. Both were amazing, and the burgers were perfectly 👌. Will be back again in a couple of weeks.

Decided to give this pub another chance, having been disappointed on several occasions by very poor service when it was called the Dylan Thomas. Decor is still the same but the rebranding has definitely improved the service. Called early evening on a weekday and had no problem getting a table. Menu had been updated, and while it is still all typical pub grub fare there are good value offers and a good selection to choose from. Meal was tasty although my mixed grill was definitely on the well done side despite asking for medium. Blue Light card accepted but only for main meals.
